- living up to a family name can be a bit of a hassle. so, astrid (asta to her close friends and siblings) doesn’t even try. if she comes off as abrasive and rough around the edges its because she is. not because she’s trying to scare you. being a werewolf can make one a bit animalistic after all.
- to channel all her extra energy, asta is on the quidditch team. actually, she’s on the team because she loves flying. it’s a lot like running. it’s freeing. and being able to aim bludgers at someone’s face isn’t exactly a let down. especially when you have such a volatile temper like she does. let off some steam, all that.
- and she needs to let off steam. it’s not like everyone is totally accepting of the fact that she’s allowed at hogwarts. and its not like people have learned not to taunt the caged werewolf about her heritage. being compared to a homicidal psychopath is not something astrid enjoys.
- astrid is a bit of a partier. it’s one of the ways she keeps herself from boiling over, from doing something that might seriously screw up her one chance at actually getting away from the terrible greyback stigma… not that she ever expects that she will. but she tries. she really does try.
- this is all i have so far, but it’s only a mere scratch on the surface of who astrid greyback is!
